Hypertargeting is a marketing method in which advertisements and communication are very precisely targeted at specific sub-target groups, based on detailed data and characteristics of those target groups.

So how do you do that, hypertargeting?
- First and foremost, build very detailed customer profiles (define personas);
- Map the customer journey of these personas;
- Translate the customer journey into content and channels that are relevant for each step of the customer journey for each specific profile;
- Score which content can have the greatest positive impact at which point in the customer journey and thus determine priorities for content creation;
- Then create specific content for each profile;
- Last but not least: test, evaluate and optimize different messages for the different target groups.
